Ministries & Programs

Adult Education- Key courses to help adults grow spiritually

Alpha- A non threatening way to learn about Jesus Christ

Best Books Corner- A small lending library of current quality books

Benevolent Fund- A fund to help people in need. Loose, undesignated offerings on the last Sunday of each month go into this fund.

Connections Cafe- A Sunday lunch and socializing time offered periodically

Facilities- Maintenance and upgrading of the church building

Finance Team- A subcommittee of the Lead Team that oversees annual budgeting and monthly financial decisions

Food Services- Preparing food for various church events

Grounds- Maintenance and upgrading of the church property

Intercessory Prayer- A "by invitation" small group that prays for the ministry of Lake Country Church and the community of Lake Country

KIDS Church- Our Sunday morning program for children in kindergarten to grade 6 (Not currently offered in July and August)

Lead Team- The committee of elders and invited lay people who oversee the administrative and spiritual functioning of the church

Media Ministry- A team responsible for our video projection on Sunday mornings and during other events in the main meeting room of the church facility

Men's Ministry- Weekly prayer and periodic events for men

Men's Hockey- An open Saturday night hockey game for men, held at the Winfield arena at 10:20 pm.

Missions Trips- Periodic ministry trips, usually to Mexico, for service and personal growth

Nursery- Our Sunday morning program for children two years of age and under, during the worship service

Prayer Ministries- A ministry uniting various prayer initiatives in the church including prayer chains, pre- service prayer, missions prayer, prayer for Alliance University College

Scrapbooking- Monthly meetings and periodic retreats for ladies who are into scrapbooking

Ushers & Greeters- A Sunday morning ministry to welcome and serve church attendees

Vacation Bible School- A week long summer event for children, usually held the 3rd week in August.

Wee Worship- Our Sunday morning program for children ages three & four, during the worship service (Not currently offered in July and August)

Women's Ministry- Events and retreats for women

Worship & Creative Arts- An umbrella ministry encompassing instrumentalists, vocalists, sound technicians, drama, dance, multi media and lighting, primarily on Sunday mornings

Young Adults- Gatherings of young adults for worship, community, service and growth.

Zone 4-5-6- A Monday night event for children in grades four, five and six
